Privacy & face data

The whole policy, in plain English. If anything here is unclear, email us and a human answers.

What we collect today

What we do not collect today

No face photos, no scans, no payment details, no advertising profiles. The website is a waitlist, and it behaves like one.

When the app launches

Rhune's scan is being built on one principle: your face belongs to you.Scans processed on your device where possible, photos stored locally by default, deletable in one tap, never used for advertising and never part of anyone's training dataset. Before the first scan you will get a consent screen in plain English, and this page will grow to match exactly what the app does — before it does it.

Where data lives

The waitlist database runs on Neon (Postgres, US region) through Vercel, which also hosts the site. Signup notifications reach us through Resend. Each processes data only to provide the service.

Your rights

Want your email and quiz answers gone? Send one line to hello@rhune.app from the address in question and we delete everything tied to it, usually within a few days. You can also ask what we hold about you — the honest answer will be: what is listed above, nothing more.
